This is a video that is made from over 400 images that I created from 2003-2009. Bits and pieces from commercial, rejected and personal projects. I had been collecting all those images to use in a completely different project, but then discovered that they could look great in animation too. After painful days in After Effects, fighting with all those 400 layers (and nearly killing my computer), the video was complete.

From a recent workshop I had with students from Nachschlag / UdK Berlin. Each student had to randomly pick a colored pencil, and all of them were given a sheet of A4 grid paper. 15 students sat around me and had 30 minutes to finish a drawing of my face. Then all the illustrations were scanned and put together in animation, and since each of them was drawn from a different perspective, the head seems to turn. Illustrations were done by: Jens, Meike, Susanne, Adrienne, Mirko, Dora, Lucas, Cyrus, Lisa, Irvandy, Martin, Josephin, Philipp, Josephin & Micha. Good job.
